Help with my pool pump, please !!!!!?
This is my 1 st year of the opening of the pool. We bought the house at the end of summer past and the pool was open. I went to open the night to replace the pump and would not work. It will turn on but it all.I also noted that smelled weird type, such as smoke. Do I have to buy a new pump? There are people who can repair this problem? Does anyone know any tricks or what the problem could be? I do not know if this helps, but here is information grabbed me out there ….. Well, that information is for the filter but not the bomb. Was the bomb left outside all winter? Above the pool pumps are known for ground bearings seized or attached to the left if not running in a wet environment. You should not be any smelling something either with the only exception briefly anyway. If the pump is stronger than you remember from last season noise or shouting or screaming then yes, it's taking me on a budget. Not authorize a right to repair bat.Depending on what the problem may actually be cheaper to buy a new pump to repair the old. labor costs are a murderer. If it is noisy and not in fact running (not just the hum), which made filling the pump basket with water before start right? Drain plugs from the pump is also installed correctly? If re-connected the plumbing, which ensured that connection is solid and not sucking air. He also made sure that it is actually connected right? The front of the pump (wet end) connects to your skimmer and the top tube from the pump is connected to the "input" (which is marked) in the filter. The only other thing that might cause pain is if the shaft seal burned while trying to run the pump dry for an extended period.
